Just curious because I have a jy lq4 I'm going to put in my car too, how did you install the arp bolts? Did you bring them to a machine shop and have the rods resized and ad new bearings?

well i started installing the s480 today, goin well so far. turbo is bolted in place, 5'' downpipe is made and welded up, just have to install a new roll of wire tomorrow to finish welding the o2 bung in place. i think it may be shorter than my old downpipe lol.
as for the coldside it will take a little modification to get it to fit up. v-band is the same but comp housing diameter is larger so it screws the spacing up. hopefully get it buttoned up tomorrow and back on the road

well im heading to cecil county tomorrow to do my comp license passes........gonna have some 112 in the car and a little extra boost as a precaution to make sure i go 9's
also my aem tru-boost should arrive tomorrow but i dont think ill have time to get it installed and operational as the car is already loaded and ready to go.
GOAL as of now is to go 9.50 with the stock truck cam this winter i plan on studs and a cam most likely. i love the low end but im just not fond of the truck cam laying over up top since its not designed to spin high

went 10.40's, got 4 of 6 license runs done. heat and so-so track prep didnt help me at all. best 60' was a 1.59 and average was 1.7's pedaling it from a 3500 launch. im also say the hell with it and ordered a ls2 timing set today and next week will be ordering a custom bumpstick from predator cams most likely
