denmah decided to take a day off work and come by with the camera. water pump is junk and leaking severely outta the seep hole(filled in between runs haha) probably coulda kept going but it started blowing the spark out at 20lbs so we gapped down to .022 from .028

Wow! Nice numbers! I'm curious what it would do with a different intake setup on it.

Bad *** build man! This gives me more motivation on swapping out the KB blown 4.6 that powers my 9 second sn95. It's so expensive to replace modular parts and good condition 03-05 4v heads are getting very scarce. I'll probably drop in a stock 5.3 as a test mule, and eventually put a quality set of rods and pistons in an lq9/lq4.

What k member are you running?

sorry, missed that i had a response. im running a 5.0 team z k member and
made my own mounts.

update#1 9-12-12
ok SOOOOOOO yesterday morning the wife and i hopped in my truck with my brother's 20+5 GN hooked up and hit the road to go visit akron OH. brought a 95 silverado home with me(total of 16 1/2 hours on the road). this truck will be donating the 6.0 to go into my car. heads off the motor will go to denmah for the fairmont and the rest of the truck is going to another friend of mine that has a truck and HAD similar plans haha. plan now is to drop his 5.3 into walt's truck and he will drive it for now then eventually turbo it.

((((this truck is had a 6.0/4l80e swapped into it))))

update for today

so i just ordered ls9 gaskets and "ebay" head studs. tomorrow im goin to work so i can yank the motor out of the truck and hopefully get the 5.3 bolted back into the truck lol. this week i will clean up some stuff and get the heads installed with the new studs. should make for a fun day
