You'll like them. Mine have been on my sonoma bout 40K miles now and not a leak one from them. I used OE gm gaskets with locking header bolts. Then used copper gaskets and knurled aircraft lockuts on the collector.

I stuck with stock uppers on mine. Pull the header back off get a bmfh and whack it till you have the clearance. I didn't have to get too crazy with a hammer on mine and they dont rub a bit.

I already grinded a llot of material off and don't want to do to much more. So I said F it and ordered a set of UMI upper control arms with tall ball joints. Should be showing up in a couple weeks. Pretty pumped.

How much they set you back. My poly bushings are about toast from heat so sounds like a worthwhile upgrade.

The sale is over, I got the upper's complete with tall ball joints and new hardware for $430 shipped. Would cost you around $480 shipped now for everything. You can get just the arms without ball joints and hardware for $340 + shipping.

What advantage does the tall ball joint give a better caster camber curve for cornering?

Thanks! If I'm impressed with these uppers you can expect another order from me in the future for a set of tubular lowers and coil overs.

Well I was ready to order some upper control arms and a customer saw me driving it today. He had a million questions then finally asked if it was for sale told him 10,500 cash and he didn't blink a eye said to save it and he'll bring cash monday. Guess we will see. I really don't wanna let it go but wife n I want to buy a house so can't so no either because if I get in a spot and need to sell it I'll take a beating..
