Default 1970 firebird lq4 t56

Here are a few pictures or the progress I've made so far. Lq4 out of a 2004 gmc ls3 heads milled .030 ls3 intake and injectors off a 2010 vette hedman headers. Finished the acc drive modified truck drive with 2010 camaro water pump. Headers bolted right up no problems and tuck right up to frame rails.
The transmission cross member still needs to be modified will have to wait till subframe gets bolted to body. The body is about ready to go to bodyman. I welded on new quarters rear tail panel trunk center and passenger side front floor pan. This site is a big help saves me from making a lot of mistakes. thanks to everyone for posting their builds. Thanks for looking

Its a slow process The guy doing the final body work does it as a hobby but he is does excellent work so it will probably be fall before he gets it done. I'm going to start doing the interior and modify the gas tank for a fuel pump.

The headers are hedman husler #502-45140. I got them from Jegs cost $540.70 shipped they price matched from another site Jegs shipping was cheaper. I bought them bare and had them coated.

When I was in high school I wanted either a 70 firebird or GtO couldn't afford either then.
I loved that front end.

It's been a while since I posted anything been busy with work. Here are a few pictures of clutch master cylinder install I bought a tick master off this site. I made a braket to mount it to the power brake booster had to bend it about 18 degrees to get it to fit.

Nice build. Your serpentine belt routing looks almost exactly like mine will be. I am using a 25% underdrive pulley. When you get a chance can you check on what size belt you used. It will save me some work. Thanks.

Thank you for the information. Being I have the 25% underdrive pulley/dampner I will start out around 112". You got me in the ball park range.

Here are some pictures of the radiator hoses I made up. BlackHD had wanted some pictures. The reducer I used for the water pump 1 1/2" to
1 1/4" I changed the thermostat housing to a straight opening made hooking the lower hose up easier.
