67 is my favorite year for the El Camino, I use to have one back in the late 70's that was an SS but someone had installed a 327. You'll have to post up pic's of yours. Bob

Take a look at Dirty Dingo's website, they specialize in LS mounts. Bob

That looks awesome!
I put an LS motor in my 77 El Camino.
I used some mounts from Speedway Motors. They have their generic brand which I used, but now they have some from Hooker that bolt the LS motor into your stock location, which is what I wish I had bought.
I didn't use the EGR stuff and had a dyno guy clear out the codes for it.
You do want to keep the primary 02 sensors though and get rid of the secondaries as those are there for emissions purposes.

I think there's a company out there that makes some nice aluminum ones that say LS on them. However, I went the economic way and went to Oreillys and went to there aisle with the plugs and springs. There they have a rubber expansion plug and if I'm right it was a 3/8". Basically you just push it in and screw it in there. My elk is not a show car by any means and I don't know if you'd do that on your nice motor.
