get double adjustable uppers so you can center the rear. dont listen about them having to be exactly even length. mine are not because i centered the rear end but they are got damn close and my car 60' great.

They are double adjustables, just never tried anything like this, ahah. I was not sure how bad it could or would effect things. I have never been a suspension guru at all. I always just played with the turbos and tuned cars.

Yeah on the mustang forums everyone always extends at least the lowers a bit to fit a 28" tire better. Also give a more ideal pinion angle if I remeber reading correctly.

Tire is centered pretty well front to back, just not side to side. Probably does not help I have one coil cut on the rear springs. But I swear the passenger side sits a tad higher too.....

Like said above, you need to get the adjustable LCA's to go with the double adjustable uppers and read up on setting pinion angle and instant center. I have some great web sites saved on another computer somewhere but Google is your friend. Check out Team Z for the best, IMO, suspension components and Dave will answer any of your questions.

When you said, "I swear the passenger side sits a tad higher too," it reminded me of this thread on the Corral, http://forums.corral.net/forums/gene...-one-side.html . ENJOY!

I have single adjustable lowers and double adjustable uppers. Seems like they might just need more adjustment. Now to get time to get out there and do it. Thanks for the thread link. Having coilovers up front and adjustable everything in the rear may be a benefit.

I have been to baseline's sight before. Seems like some good information.

Baseline's site is great and so are their products. I bought my suspension from them because of the wealth of info there

At this point I have about all the suspension bits I plan on buying unless I go to DA shocks in the rear and add on a anti-roll bar. But trying to work with what I have first. There are some cars going pretty darn fast on SA shocks and no roll bar. If I have to I have to though.

I have now got a replacement serious SPAL fan going in place of one of my ebay jobs on the radiator as well as some new wiring on the way. Hoping to get it sorted by next Friday and if the weather cooperates get it to the track. Here is the fan I grabbed. I am really hoping it will fit ok.

Did an offer at $65 and knocked another $10 off the price. I was pretty happy with it. He only has one more left though.

Slapped on a SPAL high performance fan on the passenger side where I had a bit more room. That thing must easily double the CFM of the original fan. The originals claimed 1000 cfm each if I remember right. This SPAL fan claims 1050. The difference in output is night and day difference. So much so that I am going to plan to go ahead and replace the other one on the driver's side as well with a low profile SPAL fan. There really is no comparison in flow.

This seemed to make a difference in temps, but in the 93* weather we were having after a time sitting with the hood on it would still heat soak up to around 225-230 and had a hard time recovering from this. My next modification and test of the cooling system will be to add an expansion tank. Not an overflow, as I have that already, but an expansion tank where air can settle out better.

Good deal with the fans, found out mine was just a bad ground. But anyway 93 degrees and how long sitting does it get warm? What hood you running? I have a cowl that had small vents in the back (near windsheild) so I opened my vents up as much as I could went from like 1" opening to 3 or 4" to let some heat out

It's just a lift of 6" cowl that goes up almost all the way to the windshield. I already planned to cut it back. This just reinforced that. It will get hot sitting for like 10 minutes, but now seems to at least level off.

10 mins just sitting its not doing to bad..... swap that other fan out and cut the hood back a inch or 2 and you should be good... Make a shroud if you can that may help

Do you have your heater lines looped or blocked? Honestly 225-230 isn't horrible on a 93* day sitting. If it doesn't get hotter than that I wouldn’t' worry about it too much. Wouldn't beat on it at that temp, but it shouldn't hurt anything. The factory setting on my C5 to kick on the second fan is 226*. By the time you get that second fan on and your cowl trimmed I'm sure you'd be fine.

I hesitate to mention this, but removing the thermo made my car run MUCH cooler than last year. You do need to plug the aft thermo hole with a freeze plug so the high and low side of the cooling system stay separated. Just removing the thermo alone won't help you. I also went from an LS1 to an LS7 water pump at the same time I did the thermo delete. No other changes. Not saying no thermostat is ideal, but it made a big difference on my setup. My 14x14 rad and Taurus fan setup doesn't go over 190* on a 100* day in traffic. Last weekends TNT event I was sitting at 165* in the staging lanes. 78* night.

Removing, or even gutting the thermostat works great.

We use to have issue on our turbo hayabusas in the Texas heat, until we just gutted the thermostat.

If you live in the south or only drive the car in the summer, get rid of it. Alls a thermostat does it help get the engine up to temp faster.
