Here are some pics of the CTSV tranny pan installed. Dumb question, where did you get the Corvette TCM tune? How did you install it? Thanks,

Oh boy that does make a big difference on the pan clearance. That is on my list of modifications to do. Thank you for the information and pictures.

Regarding the Corvette tune for the ECM and TCM I sent them off to John at Speartech. He has the equipment to down load the Corvette tune into both of them. In my case it was the 2011 Corvette tune. The dealer can probably do it to. They will just need a VIN number which is easy to find on the internet.

By the way the Corvette tables do have the VVT in them, they just have to be activated if you want to use that feature which I did.

What size sway bar are you running on the front? I think I will go with the 1.25" for mine. For what I will be doing with the car I see no reason to go any bigger.

I have been following this intake manifold on another forum for quite awhile but no pictures were shown until today. I wonder if this would work on my L92 with the high alternator and A/C compressor. Suppose to add 40-50hp depending your mods. Here are a couple of pictures. Also where do you add the oil?

I'm using a 1.25" for the front. I don't have anything on the rear yet as I haven't found one that bolts up the way I would like it to. The intake is sweet, but I think finding accessory brackets would be tough...

I have decided to go ahead and put a 1.25" hollow sway bar on the front and keep the 1" solid on the rear.

I just realized something when I was looking at my dyno data sheet. It looks to me as if this pull was done in 3rd gear instead of 4th going by the mph. I have the Drag Race 2000 simulation program and the mph and rpm matches pretty close with that in 3rd gear. If it was forth gear the mph would have been 120+mph at that rpm.

Here is the data sheet. Keep in mind in had to kind of roll into it in the lower rpms to keep from down shifting and in this case 2nd gear. I will have to have this car redyno'd.

Now that you have HPTuners, can you put the Corvette "Tune" in the TCM yourself?

From the impression I got talking to people I don't think so. That is why I sent the transmission control module to Speartech for the download. I know the dealer can also do it. With HPTuners I can of course make changes to the base program.

There is a thread about it on the Camaro5.com forum. All I know is they are still working on it and are about to install it in a car. Here is the link to the thread. I know I am interested in it.

interesting...looks like it has some potential for an air/water intercooler setup as well.

I got the car back from the paint shop. I took it to the local Maaco dealer who does a lot of classic cars. This is a white pearl paint job. I think they did very well considering the price. I am very pleased with the way it turned out. I need to put the rest of the emblems back on. Two of them from OPG do not fit. Round pegs in a square hole type of thing. The pictures do not do the paint job any justice. Next up is the upholstery shop. Here are the pictures.

Thanks guys. This car is going to turn out better than I thought it would. Should have it back from the upholstery shop the middle of next week. I am going to get some of the stock emblems re-chromed as the OPG ones don't fit. Square hole round peg type of thing.

Ok, got the car back from the upholstery shop. Here are some pictures of the interior and the trunk. The interior carpet is a dark blue. The material in the trunk is actually black. Looks grey in the pictures. Now all the major stuff is done. Lots of odds and ends left to do.

Very nice. Mind if I ask what the paint and interior set you back?

I'm also interested in the cost of the paint/interior and who you used for them(which Maaco?).Also do you know the color code used on the metal portion of the dash?

The paint came to around $2600. The body was in pretty good shape to begin with. So only a few small dents to be taken care of. Virtually no rust. Just some suface rust on the bottom of the trunk lid.

I did the metal portion of the dash myself using spray cans. I don't have the cans anymore.

The interior was done in stages. I was going to get the kits and do it myself but with the raising of the tunnel to clear the 6L80 transmission and a few other things I decided to take it to a shop. I bought the front and rear seat covers from OPG. I would have to look up the costs but maybe $450. I spent around $300 to have the fronts seats assembled and the covers put on. The cost of the upholstery shop was $1800. That included the carpet, installation of the rear seat covers, sail panels, package tray, arm rests, the trunk carpeting and probably a thing or two I am missing. Oh yes, the rear seat covers had to be widened. I bought 4 new "hockey stick" trims pieces for the bucket seats from Ames. Cheaper that way than to get mine re-chromed.

The Maaco was the one close to Beach Blvd and Katella in Stanton, California. They do a lot of classic cars. Heck there was even a Model T being done while I was there.

Edit: I paid another $200 for them to remove and install the bumpers and trim. They left the top halo on as they did not want to risk damaging it. It would be very hard to find replacement pieces.
