No biggie, just a cover plate where the gas pedal bolted up. I'm going DBW and didn't want to weld it up. You never know years down the road what you might swap in or even go to DBC later.

I'll get it painted when i paint the sub and other parts later.

Got the center notch finished up. In the pic, you can see both notches. If they were only painted. LOL

It's been a while, but things are coming along. I've got my Bradco converter, the engine is going together next week and my Ricks Tank with a magnafuel 750 internal will be here the middle of the week. Looking to order a set of Afco DA in the next week or so. Going to be busy for a bit.

Very nice job on the A/C frame notch! I'm really sorry I didn't respond to your posts earlier - it seems my subscription for your thread wasn't setup right. I notched both sides of my frame (photo here) and there is info in these posts: 231, 247, 250, 266, 285, 290.

Have you fitted your swaybar with the AC compressor in place? I have a 1-1/8" swaybar and needed to space mine down roughly 1/2" to clear the compressor.

The new fuel tank looks great!

Thanks man, i like the fab part of builds.

I haven't even purchased a sway bar yet. I think i remember looking at yours. I just haven't made up my mine yet on it, because i'll probably be putting a anti-roll bar on the rear for the track. If i decide to install one, i'm going to modify it to be a easy quick disconnect for the track, so i'm really not in a hurry for it.

The TANK, it dang well better look good for what they cost. I started out with a sumped tank from company x and after many conversations with Eric at Ricks, it's what i wanted in a tank and just had to break down and make it happen. It is a good looking piece and should make for a clean somewhat stealthy install. The sad part is, i'm going to paint it so it doesn't stick out when your behind the car.

I'm anxious to see how it does. This whole build is more than i've ever done. Up and till this offroad rigs is all i've ever built. Brad(bradco engineering) was great to work with on the converter build. He spent alot of time explaining and showing me pieces, for the TH400 and this.

The engine shop didn't get the engine done this week, so i did some painting this weekend. Got the sub done where i had to notch the crossmember and several smaller parts. The latch and hinges just look as if it's silver paint, it's actually Eastwoods specialty paints. The results are really nice. I used 2 different colors on them, it's hard to tell.
