This.....they should be easy to build even in large primary sizes and I bet alot of people would use them in other applications too. I have seen 62-67 Nova/Chevy II BBC fenderwell headers used in all sorts of swaps.

Also fenderwell exit for 55-57 Chevy passenger cars. Lots of people are building gassers right now.....and an LSX based gasser would be awesome. Especially topped with one of Holley's newer tunnel ram intakes. I bet it would be relatively easy to build one part number header to fit both them and the Chevy II's mentioned above.

What are the issues with headers in the 240sx swap? I know in the Miata swap, the steering column ends up hitting the runner. Sanderson makes a cheap shorty header but quality isn't great and the primaries are 1.5.

Flyin Miata makes some that are copies but have the same issues.

A 1.75 primary LT would be great if it could somehow encompass a group of swaps. I know the BMW have steering column issues too.

Would be cool if an "import swap header" could be made to handle the BMW, Nissan and Miata issue but allow the buyer to handle the piping after the collector.

List of Current Stainless Works LS Swap headers and exhausts

All headers and exhausts are made from 304L Stainless Steel and come with a lifetime warranty on materials and workmanship.

*TURBO APPLICATIONS*

> LSXT - Upswept Turbo header for LS motor. Fits Camaro (4th gen upside down), Chevelle, and Nova with minimal if any fabrication. May fit other applications

> LS1DFT - Downswept Turbo header for LS motor. Fits 4th Gen with A/C and has been used on 5th Gen with minimal modications

*CAMARO/FIREBIRD/TRANSAM*

> CA679WD - 67-69 F-Body with Wayne Due or comparable subframe.

> CALS1 - 67-69 F-Body with rack and pinion steering conversion

> CALS1SB - 67-69 F-Body with stock steering box (recently redesigned with extra room around box)

> CA679LSCH - 67-69 F-Body exhaust to connect to Stainless Works headers. Chambered Round mufflers with no X pipe

> CA679LSD - 67-69 F-Body 3" exhaust to connect to Stainless Works headers. Turbo style mufflers with X pipe

> Second Generation parts not available

> LS swap for 82-92 available through Hawk's ThirdGen

*Chevelle/El Camino/Monte Carlo*

> CVLS1 - 68-72 Chevelle 1 7/8" primaries with 3" collector. For use with stock steering box

> CVLS1ST -68-72 Chevelle 1 3/4" primaries with 3" collector. For use with stock steering box

> CV6872LSD - 68-72 Chevelle 3" exhaust system to connect to Stainless Works headers. X pipe and chambered turbo mufflers

*Corvette*

> C3NCSE - 63-82 Corvette with Newman Chassis with factory side exhaust

*Nova*

> CALS1 - 68-72 Nova with rack and pinion steering

> CALS1SB - 68-72 Nova with stock steering box

> NVLS1 - 62-67 Nova with Church Boy Rack and Pinion steering

> Mid-length headers for 62-67 Nova available through Church Boy Racing

> NVLS3S - 62-67 Nova 3" Turbo Chambered exhaust with X pipe for connection to SW headers

We are thinking 2nd gen Fbody and a 63-82 Corvette should be a good addition. We missing anybody else?

-Jason
This never makes sense to me....There are more sec gens Camaros out there than 1st gens. More first gen owner are more into "all original" YET...they get all the aftermarket support...

Sent you a PM.....I vote for 2nd gen Camaro swap headers. Here are a couple pics of my car, I am doing a 6.0 swap with a T56 6speed. I am only 3 hrs away, and could let you use my car for R&D.

Dropped my 70 Camaro off yesterday at Stainless Works for them to start designing the headers for the 2nd gen Camaro / Firebird. Jason and George are awesome to deal with and great people.....I encourage any of you looking to purchase, to give them a shout.

They said they would have my car for 3 weeks, then the headers would be available to the public 2-4 weeks later.

I'd like to see a set for 65-70 B-bodies. Right now I have Dynatech LS Swap headers for 67-69 Camaro....they fit my 65 Impala but they hang too low.

Quick Reply: Stainless Works to expand LS swap header and exhaust line up. SUGGESTIONS!
