I've got an LS6 intake to install next weekend. (tracks closed anyway)
Just installed a new treadstone intercooler today. The fin density and pressure drop is suppose to blow away the cheap EMusa IC.
Id' guess those 2 things alone should free up 80-100hp at big boost.

Threw the LS6 intake on this weekend too. No longer need the nitrous to get up on the brake. Easily hit 4400 rpm and made 8psi on the brake. Would have made more RPM and boost I'm sure. Boost keeps ramping up after release until it blows the tires off around 15lbs. Hope to hit the track again next weekend. IAT's 20-25* above ambient at 15lbs.
Also drilled the nitrous jet to roughly an 80 dry shot. So it will be there if I need it.

Didn't have the night I hoped for. Looks like I picked up 4mph with an intake and intercooler swap at the same boost levels with 2* less timing though. (went from 17* to 15*) Pretty happy about that.
This was pedaling the car heavily all through most of 1st gear and short shifting at 6500. 16lbs in low gear, 18lbs in high. IAT was 118* by the end of the run.
Car ran great on the street at 13-14lbs. Turned the boost **** up a half turn and hit the same 16lbs in low and 18lbs in high gear I was running last track visit. Couldn't get boost above this level all night. If I block the signal to the lower port like I usually do boost spikes to 30+.
Also somehow managed to activate the Mega Squirt AFR safety feature without knowing it. If the ECU sees .3 AFR difference from the target map (which I didn't even setup) it cuts fuel and activates a 4000rpm rev limiter. This resulted in a nasty loud BANG around half track when fuel cut occurred. Thought I blew the car up 3 times!
By the time I figured this all out it the track prep was crap and wouldn't' hold any power on the launch. I think It would have went low 9's at 18lbs if the track prep was there. Early in the day when the track prep was good I managed 2 1.4x 60's leaving at 5lbs. But these runs were all botched by the fuel cut.

We use Treadstone cores on most of our street and sometimes our drag Hondas, but most of the time we use Garrett cores. The bar and plate cores do much better than the tube and fin cores. They're just a little heavier. What IATs do these motors usually see? 118 seems a little high. We usually want to see it under 100.

My previous IAT's were 160-170ish at 24ish lbs. Pressure drop across the core was my main concern. I'd heard as high as 5 psi pressure differential at 17psi with the cheaper china cores.

It's no garrett, but it was heat soaked pretty good in the staging lanes before the run.(over 120*) Never really ran it at 18lbs so I don't have a direct comparison. I've also heard the GM IAT sensors we use aren't very quick to respond to temp changes, and pretty inaccurate in general. Guys running E85 and no IC are maxing out the GM sensors. (285*) So i'm not too worried about the temps.

Horrible! crazy crowded and only got 3 runs. First run I tried 6lbs off the brake and pedaled the first half went 9.8 @ 149 at 18lbs. Hour later I got a second try and the track just wasn't' there. I left off idle rolling into it. As soon as it came into boost it was like ice skating. 42* and it got cold in a hurry when the sun went down. Dew all over the track. Pretty dangerous for any car with power.
