Amazing work! I just went through it all for the second time. I love this build.

Default Outstanding execution

Thank you for sharing your time and talent.
Did the Malibu BCM and cluster talk with the express elm and tcm?
I am working with a late Silverado power train swap but the cluster is a bit large for my application and if I could swap in the Malibu cluster it would be near perfect.
Thanks again for taking the time to share your build.

The only thing Malibu I have is the steering column/wheel and shifter. The gauges and BCM are Express Van. The steering wheel paddle shifters are different resistance than the Express Van so I will have to rewire them to the correct values.

Made a little seat belt bar for the center buckles. So many little things like this to do. Checking them off the list one by one.

Went back to school full time so the van has been sitting all alone for awhile. Won't be back on it until January.

Great build! My dad had a 63 that we did a 302 swap on.

I noticed you have what appears to be "Super Van" emblems in the front grille area. Do you have an emblem already?

Glad my project can motivate others. I have some very cool fab ideas that I will be doing next- some of the most ambitious projects I have ever tried

No new fab work but I did find some LED tail light circuit boards that fit my custom tail light bucket and 1971 Camaro lenses perfectly. I couldn't have dreamed of a better fit. Since I spend so much time wandering around the local LKQ junkyard- I just happened to spot a 2006 Passat with round LED boards. Took a chance and bought one.

Here is the outer ring lit up which will be the parking lights on.

Here is the outer and inner (brake lights on) lit up.
Pictures don't do it justice, it looks sweet in person but the camera doesn't take good pics of such a bright light.
