Here's pictures of the adventures I've been through putting this pup together, if you have any questions do ask!![](http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d28/Bowserfire/D0F680DF-6744-4110-A31A-33689839FA7A-4716-00000156F88ED61E.jpg)
Here's my starting point, a 350 that gave me nothing but trouble and a guzzling, unreliable carburetor.

First step is to remove and sell it... Which was done and good riddance!
![](http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d28/Bowserfire/null-3.jpg)
The engine compartment looks so empty... And it'd stay that way for 2 months.. until...

LS1 and tranny arrives! They are made to fit thanks to special hooker exhaust manifolds and holley oil pan.
![](http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d28/Bowserfire/null-14.jpg)
Fits like a glove!

So close, hope I can drive it one day... I'm using a stock 1999 camaro radiator (1.25 inch wide row) and a Flex-A-Lite 180 Fan, it's the strongest single aftermarket fan out there and I couldn't fit a dual fan so I hope it works...

Still waiting for that Drive-By-Wire to be installed...
I hope this 1999 Corvette LS1 and 4l60e from a 2001 Camaro enjoy their new home and treat me well.

For the swap I bought a brand new Gas Tank, I thought I could install an in tank pump but I'll have to rely on an inline. I hope they get one strong enough to do the job.

Since it was in the shop so long I thought, hey, why not buy some nice wheels? I was tired of having my hubcaps fly off like the Charger in Bullit anyways. As a result I bought some 15x7 Torq Thrust Ds.

And some ADVANTAGE T/A BFGOODRICH tires.

700r4 was removed to make room for the 4L60E, it should be a much better transmission.

Stock, But my tires aren't grippy, hopefully it doesn't give out soon. PS: Does the engine sound like it has a slight lope? I bought this engine off ebay with other LS swap parts in a package and don't know its history except it has 30k or so miles. Think it may have a mild cam?

My tires weren't sticky either as a matter of fact I was running the factory powerglide and peg-leg diff when the rear end gave out. Tires I ran back in the day were 195/70/14 Sumitomos if memory servers me right.
Far as the cam goes, I couldn't really tell. Open exhaust fools me every time.

Don't aggressive launches from a stop have the most risk? As long as your moving when you press on the accelerator should you be fine?
