I have a set in my 80 Z28. I like them but good for tall people. Very comfy though.
actually ended up selling those seats. Paid $25 for the set and sold them for $500. Couldn't resist. I'm using a set out of a 2000 Camaro now.

actually haven't done much. Fabbed up seat tracks. In the process of fabbing up exhaust. The next big project is doing all the sheet metal work on the back end for the 1970 tail swap. Will update with picks soon. Thanks for looking

After more research and work I realized I needed full rear quarters in order to make the swap happen. So I saved up another pile of $ and bought the parts. Cut out what was left of the drivers side quarter and rough fitted the new quarter panel.

rough fit with the tail panel

body lines are good, door jam gap needs some adjustment

trunk gutter gonna take some major work

Little more fitting work. Got the lead seam melted out. Really wasn’t that bad other than the tingling throat and burning eyes.......

Default Progress Update

So I have about 50 miles on it so far. Rear end had a bad wine from 35-60. Side shims were wrong and it ruined the carrier bearings. Got it fixed though. Gas tank had a leak but I think I’ve got it fixed. Running a 2011 Camaro fuel pump with a vette works fuel pump tray.

Default Update 6-2020

So far I have about 100 miles on the car. Still working through various items but most recently noticed I had the MAF sensor installed backwards. This was causing an erratic idle when shifting from drive to reverse etc and also after rev up of RPMs. I assumed it was due to the fact that I need a custom tune but it was the MAF. Hope this helps someone else in the future. Replaced all steering components and installed a new CPP steering box.

Gettn some sun ☀️

New interior panels and headliner

Rear seats purchased off of CL

New radio head unit

Cruising

New CPP steering box. Much tighter feel compared to stock especially at higher speeds.

Default 2023 update

Been awhile since I posted here. Cars painted and now just working through small trim items. Try and drive it a few times a month if the weathers nice.
