Default Alternator wiring help pls
Need help on what to do to wire up the alternator on my 99 trans am. Here's my application I have a 99 trans am with it's original wiring harness and PCM with the build I have done I've used all corvette acc I have a 2000 corvette alternator on the car Wondering what I need to do to wire it properly. There is only one wire on my original harness that use to go to the stock f body alt and I believe the 2000 vet had 2 so any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

Pin B on that connector goes to PCM RED 15.

So I take a wire put it in pin b on that connector and tie it in the computer red 15 and hook up alternator like normal. I may sound dumb just not sure when it comes to alt pins and wiring

Okay so ic that what your saying that wire on pin b goes to PCM 15 but that's not really telling me how to wire up the alt of a vet to make it work

I have heard there was a difference..that is the factory Fbody Wiring what I just gave you..you mean two wire as in the connector is only two pins?

Ya mines a one pin but the vet I believe is a 2 pin so I need to convert my one pin to a 2 pin vet alternator

So that's a wire diagram for my PCM but what I wana know is how do I wire my one pin to the vet 2 pin alt and make the vet alt work
