Default LS1/t56 Street Legal Go Kart???

ok so i watched the video on the homepage here and watched that LS1 ****** Jeep... kinda gave me some inspirtation...

i have a LS1 and t56 waiting for 1979 Monza but that project wont come around for some time due to the cost.

so anyway i/we do HOTROD power tour every year and thinking about building a lowered short wheel base LS1 GO KART!?!?! am i crazy or does this sound like fun?

long story short i have a old s10 frame. its was a reg cab long bed. its got most everything there too. body was scrapped a long time ago. so its just a frame and rear axles/ suspension/ and front suspension but not brake rotors...

wanna do this on the cheap and i have most everything to do this...

thoughts/ideas???

good/or bad... post em up. thanks

ill post pics of the frame im talking about in the AM when i get up.

thanks for reading

something like this. if you take it apart carefully instead of with a hammer, you can probably sell off a ton and get most of your money back.

I would be terrified to have that thing on the street. However, put some big 35" truck tires on it and you'll have yourself a fun mud machine.

looks like a fun idea. Should be able to round up used s10 parts to help fill in some of the gaps for cheap. Good luck!
