Looks like fun, I haven't seen an LS in a GC before. Subscribed!

As far as I know there's only one other running ls swapped GC at the moment. There aren't any boosted iron block GC's running around yet though.

Welded up the top and tacked the sides. More progress when I have less math homework.

I want to see how this turns out.

What is the weight distribution going to be like on this thing?

I've been asking myself the same question. I'm cutting the firewall a good bit to fit a t-56 so engine placement will be decently far back and hopefully low. I need to look at oil pans to see if I can get a front or a rear sump pan.

PSSS: I tacked up the other side, got rid of the rusty dead pedal, and pulled the water pump off the 5.3

Damn, that going to be an epic project. I love Subarus, especially of that generation. I guess the swap will require conversion to RWD?
Just curious why are you using an iron block, Subarus already suffer from understeer due to the engine being so far forward? Why not go with LM4, L33, or LS1 aluminum blocks?
