Good looking bracket, I can literally stand and jump on mine when its mounted to the car. Very similar idea.

Got some parts in last night. fcs race definitely makes some badass parts. Also got my fbody oil pain in

got a couple things done this weekend. what a piece of junk that trick flow timing chain dampener bracket its. I had to do all sorts of tweaking to that thing to get it from contacting the oil pump.




it was about this point that I realized I used the wrong o ring on the oil pick up tube


what does everybody do for engine placement? I centered it between the frame rails nad leveled it side to side but what degree do you have going back?


going to start building the framework this week? is a problem to favor a little bit to one side to make room for a battery?


got part of the garage painted... color matched the stripe to the car

there is a plate welded on the bottom that sits flat against the frame rail and I am going to nutcert the frame rail and bolt in in on the bottom

I envy all that engine bay space. I really like all the quality parts & workmanship. The paint in the garage came out great too. Sub'd.

yeah there is a ton of room for all sorts of activities lol. I try not to hack or cheap out on anything. ive learned the hard way cheaping out doesn't pay in the long run. Id rather take longer to build the car and have good parts!

Do you think you will have clearance issues with your hood hinge and that catch can?

yeah no hood hinges would work with this catch can... but im going to be running a lift off so was not worried

got my valve covers in today... they look super dark in pictures but they aren't that dark in person. but I knew that powder coat wouldn't of been a perfect match
