I am in the process of rebuilding and installing a 5.3 LM7 with a TKO600 into my 1965 Cutlass and was wondering if anyone made a single turbo kit for a car like mine. I have done a ton of research and have called a couple of companies with no luck. CX Racing has a twin turbo kit for a 63-65 Chevelle that I am pretty sure would fit my car but I am not looking for a twin turbo set up unless I really have to go that route. The mods I am currently deciding on for the setup are listed below and I am looking to make 550-600 to the wheels. If anyone has any suggestions/recommendations for my setup please feel free to let me know. I would really appreciate the help. Thank you.
Gen III 5.3 LM7
TKO 600 Transmission
Stock intake manifold
Stock Heads
Siemens Deka 80 fuel injectors
BTR Twin Turbo Stage I Cam
BTR Push Rods
BTR Spring Kit and Titanium Retainers
ARP Head Bolts
ARP Connecting Rod Bolts
LS9 Head Gaskets
LS7 Lifters
Melling High Volume Oil Pump
Walbro 400 in tank fuel pump
Thanks for all the help.

that holley setup is pretty nice but u do still need to make some modifications to make it work. But any fab shop can finish it up for hardly nothing.
Or u could buy a log manifold from trick or kbracing. Install the log with one of there crossover pipes and bolt the turbo on. Kbracing I'm sure can get u what u need. He is on the performancetrucks.net site. Good guy to deal with.

Thanks guys for all the help. I was looking at the Holley manifolds but were worried that the crossover would not fit with a TKO600, but since its smaller than a T56 I don't think it will be an issue. I did talk to Todd from Holley and he said to wait for the 302-3 oil pan. So that's a plus. Any recommendations for turbos. Thanks again for all the help.

As for turbo recommendations, you're about to get into a huge debate...LOL
If I was putting a 5.3L in my 70 GTO with a TKO600, I would do the BWS366SXE. Most people will say that it is way too small, but with a manual, and relatively heavy car, that is what I would go with...Many opinions will vary.

I am more than likely going to use the GM Bell Housing unless there is a huge benefit in using the Quick Time Bell Housing. As far as turbos go I was thinking maybe the 475, or VS billet 7875 or maybe the Huron 7875. I am open to any recommendations when it comes to turbo options. I would rather get people's opinion here and get the right one the first time. Thanks again for all the help.

When you say GM...am I to assume you're talking about the 621 big block reproduction bellhousings? If so, I suspect a crossover pipe that's made for a stock T56 bellhousing will work. But I don't know that for sure.

The 621 bellhousing was not included in the CAD model used to design the Hooker turbo crossover tubes, so all or none of them may fit with it. You may have to use the universal one that we created and assemble it to fit your bellhousing.

The parts were modeled to fit the specific geometry of the Hooker turbo manifolds, so I can't imagine they would work well with any other set of manifolds.

I made a recommendation in post number 5. If you want to go a little bigger, the S369sxe is the biggest I would use. The other upside is that the 3 series turbos are quite a bit smaller than the 4 series turbos. This makes packaging easier.
You never stated your current and future power goals, so that would be a good start. Again, I tend to favor smaller turbos and let power fall where it may. Plenty of people like the S475, but then again they all have automatic transmission, loose converters, and tend to be drag race oriented. From what you posted initially, that's not what you're doing.
