Default Don’t know what I’m doing

Hey guys so I currently have a 72 Nova with a 350 in it eventually I would like to swap out it out for an Ls engine but I don’t know what I need or which engine to go with and tranny since I would eventually down the road would like to put turbos in it? Any help as in what Ls and tranny is best suited for that! Thanks

Oh boy.....(knuckles cracking) I think in order to answer your questions we must know at least two things ,#1. Budget, #2. Intended use.

Are we talking everthing new out of a catalog, or junkyard??
Is this to be a drag car or cruiser??

And they have to be REALISTIC goals.
You cannot google or read enough. Doing this will answer most all of your questions.
Be realistic with your budget. This is the number one killer of projects.

Thanks for the feedback guys! I don’t really have a budget since I intend to take my time with it! Also I would like it to be used as a street/strip car as of now I had my eyes set on an Ls3 and a Currie 9 in rear end but besides that idk what tranny to go with or if something else would work better

Doesn’t matter but I was leaning more toward auto
