That should work very well (I am running one pump with smaller engine lines and no issues ) .I believe you are using the davies craig controller -can it handle two pumps ?

I have to look at the way the pump is wired and give davies craig a call. I may run a different pump altogether but further
testing is needed.
I have some more pictures and am trying different pump layouts .

I have been watching and reading your thread from the beginning, with the intentions of doing this at some point. I love watching the progression so far.

I do have a question about how you did the electric power steering on the other cars. I am looking to convert my 2000 Boxster to electric power steering but not sure what pump to go with. Do you have any insight on what you have done before and what works?

Again looking great.

I used the MR2 pumps and plain to use one again. They are (Second gen mr2) just a pump and are very well made. No circuit boards or computer controls the way I set
them up. I am going to put mine in the engine bay to keep the trunk and trunk LOL I use a different relay and its rated at 100 amp continuous duty, haven't had luck using
the MR2 factory relay.

P/S PUMP LEFT SIDE OF ENGINE BAY. I GOT A SPECIAL RELAY DESIGNED TO HANDLE 200 AMPS CONTINUOUSLY TO MAKE SURE THERE'S NO OUTPUT LOSS FROM HEAT BUILD UP. I HAVE FOUND COOLING FANS , ELECTRIC MOTORS ALL WORK BEST WITH QUALITY RELAYS.

TWO RADIATOR HOSES, TWO HEATER HOSES AND TWO SHIFT CABLES ALL TOGETHER SEPARATE FROM THE ENGINE COVER. I WANTED THE SHIFT CABLES OUT OF THE WAY NOT CONNECTED TO THE FUTURE COVERS. EACH HOSE / CABLE HAS ITS OWN PROTECTIVE GUIDE. THE CABLE SHIFTER GUIDE IS ON TOP AND NOT VIEWABLE IN THIS PICTURE.

WATER PUMP FITTING A COOLING FAN TO SIT UNDER THE PUMP NOT PICTURED YET

It's strange but I had a hard time finding someone who would make me up a power steering line. Its a odd mix of Toyota and Porsche but I ended up making up one using the Porsche aluminum line a steel Mercedes line and other Toyota fittings and welded them together along with a flair on the Porsche aluminum end. I'll post a pic tomorrow. Close to getting this going !!!! Well a month or so ………..

It is up and running! been tooling around on low boost (WGs, about 3psi) and ~565rw. Should hit my target of 1200rw+ on 25psi+. Hopefully turn it up in a week or so. Mainly working on getting the interior finished up these days. Building the interior rear firewall this weekend.

It looks busy at first, but it is very easy to work on (other than accessory drive). I can also have the engine completely out in one unit in 2 hrs or so start to finish. Triple front mounted radiators.

Jordon,
This is clearly a well planed, well financed project by a guy who loves fast cars !
Most folks have no idea how much goes' into a car like this. Your build with the dry sump, twin turbo and a hand full of supporting subsystems is on another level .
I hope you enjoy the hell out of the car !!

So I fired the engine and its all good, I had trouble finding the clutch hydraulic lines to go from auto to stick conversion so I sourced a fitting from a VW and made the rest. Still using the Cayman master and slave just the line I made up. I now need to fit the pedal and it seems there is something a bit different in the main shaft from the auto and stick pedal assembly. I need to look into this as well. So I need to wire in the Davies Craig water pump controller and I'm good to go !! I got a tig welder but don't really know how to operate it via aluminum welding. Time to learn because there's a lot of things I can clean up mastering that for sure. I would like to make one peace type radiator hoses out of aluminum, that would tighten up the cooling system. I also found the correct AC fittings, so now I need to have the hoses made up. Intergrading the electrical system is another task, I can wire up the engine and sup-systems apart from the Porsche electrical easy enough but I'm sure there is someone who knows how to mesh things together better. If anyone has more info about this please chime in.

Thanks! Glad to see your is coming together. I learned to weld aluminum for this project as well. I am getting pretty decent now but definitely a learning curve. My coolant pipes were my first try. They dont leak but they are not pretty!

Progress looks great! I've been reading your updates and it's cool to watch it progress. I just started my 996 LS1 swap - do you think you could share the fittings you used for the AC lines? I designed Porsche to AN3 fittings for my clutch slave and master since I'm also doing a Tiptronic to manual swap. Thanks for all the updates and content!

I bought some sanden to standard o-ring adapters from Summit, and then just made custom lines (local hose shop).

Thanks Jordon I was able to find the fittings. Still wiring up the car and looking into hanging an exhaust system.
