Fuel tank purge line

2008 CTS
can the fuel tank purge line be ran in old fashined fuel line with a worm type clamp.
i don't believe there is any real pressure at this line.

By “purge” - you mean return line? If so, it is, indeed very low pressure.

I believe it's return less fuel system.
the line comes from the fuel tank then to a solenoid valve then intake vacuum.

He means the evap line. Ya it just carries fuel vapor from the tank to a storage canister and then dispenses it into the intake as the VCM sees fit. it has a vacuum to it so that's about as well as it needs to get sealed,
