Default L92 not firing injectors

I have a 2007 Escalade L92 in a 1951 ****** pickup. Been running around 5years. A few months ago it got really hard to start. Replaced fuel pump but did not help. I have good fuel pressure but have discovered that the injectors aren’t firing using a noid light. By cranking for a while the injectors will finally start working. Any ideas where to start? Nothing shows up on scanner. ECM was programmed by Speartech.

Speartech modified the harness originally and it ran great. It started doing this a few months ago and seems to be getting worse. No other harness mods done since. Thanks

Check all grounds and connections. Possibly corrosion in a connector an/or grounding point

thanks for the input. I have done some of that and even ran a second engine to frame ground.
I will keep looking.

Between them, my bet would be cam sensor.
Bad crank sensor, it would not start
Bad cam sensor would make it crank longer but still start.

My guess is it’s not firing the spark plugs either

Sounds like deteriorating connection(s) He needs to check ALL connections and existing grounds. Adding grounds is not the cure. All existing ones need to be good.

Default Found the problem

Thanks guys for all the help. Checked all grounds and all were good. Turns out that it was the battery! It cranked over very well but voltage was dropping to the point that it wasn’t firing the injectors! New battery and all is well. Thanks again.

Turns out it was a bad battery! It cranked fine but voltage drop prevented firing injectors. Replaced battery and everything is great. Thanks to all who chimed in.
