Yes, I have drove it about 80 miles to date. With the stock 15 inch tires, it smokes them with ease thru the gears. Keep in mind the tires are el cheapo. I plan to run a larger and very sticky tire. This truck will only be driven in good weather, but I will drive it daily in such.
I am using the stock GM transmission mount. It works great. I did have to mock up and make a new spacer to have transmission in the correct drive train angle. Cross member is Holley. However, it is not made for this TR6060 trans. Essentially, I had to move the cross member back a few inches and then made brackets on frame to attach cross member. Of course after mock-up, everything was powder coated. I am adding pics to help explain. Let me know if you have more questions... Keep in mind, my goal for this truck is to have it look as close to possible to looking as if GM built it this way. I am also running the stock handle inside the cab... lol
Hi can you tell me what kit you used to relocate your alternator. Yours seems to sit well and not look out of place as some of the others do. Thanks in advance.

years ago I built a 85 gmc s15 old school 355 with 350tbh I'm about to start on my new project a 00 s10 extended cab has the 4.3 auto I'm going a similar route I've decided to order a dart iron block shp pro and build a 427 sbc stroker lt4 platform with the tr6060 ive been doing my homework im going with the 4 link wishbone and coilover suspension for a fully adjustable suspension and height my 85 when i built it you couldn't get all these pre made installation kits i had to get inventive and use parts from 50 different cars anyway looks good man hope you enjoy it when its done they have alot of hook up issues their so rear end light you can relocate the fuel cell by using a blazer rear gas tank or buy a aftermarket cell will put weight in the right places and give you Room to put the exaughst straight down both rails just a option
