I have done some experimentation with this and a reservoir from a Chevy Volt fits the CRV master well, looks a lot better, and has a regular cap. You just need to trim off a little plastic nub with a utility knife and it works. Takes about 2 min and is very obvious/easy. The ports and set screw are the same as well.

You can also clock the master so it is not at an angle and drill and tap the booster. I have done this and it works just fine. I can post up a pic if you want. This is the same reservoir you can use on the CRV master.

Hmmm... that's very interesting that a stock style MC will fit. Can you share what modifications were necessary for that to work together? Looks very stockish with that gen2 unit.

ive been driving mine for a while now and its great. as for fitting a stock type master, its just a matter of adapting the bolt pattern. its still just a pushy-helper whether its vacuum, hydraulic or electric.

Trendsetter is correct. You need an adaptor to clock the master cylinder to horizontal. The studs on the iBooster are more like 45 degree. Additionally you'll need a machined insert to account for the difference in pushrod depth. The rod
is recessed in the iBooster housing, not flush with the mounting flange like a vacuum booster

Ibooster
I just subscribed to this forum to say thank you for helping me get this same idea rolling.
I do not have a chevy anything but I do have a liking for using new tech and fabricating stuff.
I used the same option of a clutch master cylinder that drives a clutch slave that actuates a gen 2 ibooster thats mounted up by the firewall in a fabricated by me aluminum cage. Thats mounted on the trans tunnel. (70 mustang with 5.4dohc swap).
I still gotta run the brake lines to my prop valve and bleed the brakes but at least these pics can be of help.
Ibooster bleeding was easy as hooking it up tona 12v cordless battery and pushing the pedal.
Hope these pics can help
someone thats looking for ideas. I know I learned alot from seeing the remote mount pics.

JPnTX, you may have a market for those brackets and push rod extensions. You should sell them as a kit! Also, I'm assuming that there is a custom bracket in the rear that allows for it to be bolted to GM cars. I see Chevrolet script on the two valve covers.
