ZF8HP Transmission swap
Yes. Fuel cell in the bed with a rear sump and an internal fuel pump. I like the fuel cell because it opens up the bottom for exhaust and suspension options. But I don't like giving up the bed space. Someday I'll mount it where the spare tire would live underneath and route the exhaust around it.

Lucky me. Only 1 of my 8hp70s I have sitting here has a 16 pin connector. Im guessing that would ve been discovered as an issue AFTER you purchased one and tore it down to either soider your own board in or mailed it to turbolamik. I ll have to do some research and see what options there are for the 10pin connector or if its now a paper weight of a trans. Im hoping by running the CanTcu on that one that its compatible. Gunna have to send them an email. I ll report back here fellas. Hate to see anyone else buy an incompaitble trans if thats whats happening.
@TurboLamik feel free to jump in here and clarify.

So far , based on Rkupons unit, and the one I have seen, its 21-22 Chargers that have this pin issue. Proooobably 23 as well. Maybe someone who has seen more of these trans' can state what year it started ? All across dodge/ram/jeep products, or ?.
Or you can buy another used TCU assy with the correct pins ? If you want to use Turbolamik

"paper weight of a trans" is a huge over exaggeration
These TCUs without all the pins are a new thing but by all means it should not stop you from purchasing the trans. It is not the end of the world.
The replacement TCUs with all the pins are readily available and can be swapped easily.
45, 50, 51, 70, 75, 76 are same TCUs from TurboLamik point of view and are all interchangeable
90 and 95s have longer speed sensors but otherwise are the same.
Those pins carry signals to our TCUs. Basically connections to all the solenoids, speed sensor and temp so yes, they are all needed
They are required for the operation but this is why TurboLamik can do what it does as its a full standalone and not just a CAN gateway with limited funcionality

I just didn't see it.
I did NOT say anything, I asked a QUESTION. You too can reread what I wrote. That was a question that you qouted. Bottom line here is, instead of arguing back n forth, why cant we just get some clarity? Thats all we need is a little clarity. Its not really a big deal. But in all honesty, I would not have purchased this trans with the 10pin connector had I known it is NOT compatible with Turbolamik. Just because im using CanTcu with this build inparticular, it doesnt mean I wouldnt think about upgrading later. I change my builds more than some people change their underwear! It could be a random tuesday where I just up n decide to go turbo and would likely be wanting the turbolamiks capability vs CanTcu. I like to keep my options open. Its not a big deal. But I do try n think ahead alil bit. Not to mention other people need to know their options and differences when considering this swap. Especially before going trans shopping.

Well I feel like an idiot; I just checked my 2023 8HP70, and I've got a 10 pin connector too. Feel pretty dumb after spending a bunch of time botching a PCB install then hardwiring mechatronic unit to only to just realize it can't be used. I guess I would've figured it out tomorrow as I was planning on finishing my wiring and fiilling/firing it up. I was under the dodge units were all the same.

Im betting it s a result of supply chain issues during hieght of the scamdemic!

For 45, 50, 51, 70, 75, 76 unless you wanna try swapping speed sensors
