4l80e driveshaft question
Im wondering, what's the best way to go here? The Ls engine has a 4" diameter shaft, the c3 had a 2.5". If I bought a used driveshaft how would they make it work with the 4"?
I know they usually cut off the yolk and build a new tube but not sure what the best route here is with there being such a large diameter difference.

That is obviously a billet Strange yoke, but there are other options in the same style that are available.

The shop I use closed down so I gotta find someone who does it on the island.

For my C3, LQ4 turbo, 4L80e intall, I went with a 3" chromolly driveshaft. I use the long (not stubby) end for the 4L80e because I have a solid axle that moves rather than the fixed location of stock C3 rear ends.
This setup is good for !000HP. I'm running over 700 at this time. I can take a picture from under the car to let you see the fit if you want.

Yes, it can be removed. Remove the 4 bolts at the rear end pumpkin, move it to down (may need to jack the rear some to make more clearance), then the yoke simply slides out of the transmission.
