Default hazards, but no blinkers

well i have been trouble shooting my 68 firebird for a couple of days now and i have found only one problem. i have tail lights and brake lights, and i have my hazards. but i can not get my turn signals to work? and like i said my hazards do work, which are the same as the blinkers. i have replaced the turn signal switch but i just dont know what it could be? any help is greatly appreciated. thanks in advance

Are you still on a factory harness, going to the rear of the body?

Not sure on a painless wiring but some fuse blocks have 2 flashers, 1 for flashers and 1 for turn signals. If so just move the one flasher and plug in it the opposite spot, you should have turn signals and no flashers. Just a thought.

I just looked at the painless site and all of their pictures of their fuss boxes show 2 flashers, wouldn't think both flashers would have to be in for turn signals to work but a quick call to them might help.
