Default Any T56 Fox LS1 conversions yet?

I know there are plenty of LS1 Fox cars now, but who is running a T56? Trying to figure out how to run the hydraulic clutch, and what to do about a brake MC/booster too, with hydraulic clutch. I'm converting my 85 notch to 5 lug 13" Cobra rotors/caliper and normal SN rear discs, so I'm trying to plan my hydraulics and pedals accordingly.
Also, any issues with a 3.73 and the T56 running a 245/45/17 or maybe a 275/40/17 in a Fox? I know the F-bods don't like the 3.73/T56 much, but the Fox is a LOT lighter. I already have the 3.73 8.8, but I can always go 3.55 if need be.

I HIGHLY doubt there will be a prob... if the 4L60E fits... just the standard cross member mods, driveshaft mods... and so on...

I like my 3.70 rear gear with the T56. I think it's just about perfect.

255/60-15 rear tires = 27" diameter

Stock clutch pedal with a bracket for the clutch master cylinder bolted to the brake booster like on S&P's website.

I'm in the same boat right now. I'm stuck trying to figure out how to engage the hydraulic cylinder for the clutch with using my stock Mustang pedal.

There is no room on the firewall in front of the Mustang clutch pedal because the frame comes in right there. The LS1 hydraulic master cylinder fits perfectly throught the firewall where the clutch cable should go, but I can't figure out a way to get the cylinder to engage.

Since Mustangs use a quadrant and a cable that pulls, and the LS1 cars use a hydraulic cylinder that pushes, they work opposite from each other and won't work.

I don't like to hear that....good thing I'm several months away from starting. I REALLY WANT THE T56!!!
You said you kept the Hydra-boost right? I just sold one, and decided to go conventional MC/booster.

Question Mystic96

Yo, I hope all is well with your project. How hard would it be to just use the LS1 pedal assembly with LS1 brake/clutch master cylinder? If the cylinder fits the hole, it seems it would just be a matter of adapting the pedal assembly bracket. Again, keep us posted as I am planning to follow your path, as I have a '96 V6 coupe I want to convert to LS1/T56. Good Luck!

Either one will probably work. I just didn't want to swap out all that stuff. It's only 2 lines that need to be connected for the Hydraboost.

That sounds like a hell of a lot of work. Especially since there will still be no room on the firewall for the master cylinder since the frame is there.

Mustangs use a quadrant to pull the cable. The quadrant is on a shaft that is to the right of the clutch pedal (above the gas pedal). That is where the hole in the firewall is for the clutch cable. Right now this is where I planned on mounting the master cylinder since it fits so well, but I need to figure out someway to convert the quadrant from a pull type to a push type and push the master cylinder in.

Sadly, no, not in my situation at least. I've been waiting on little parts here and there before getting everything squared away to get the motor/tranny dropped in...
