You'll have to go with a Corvette alt. and power steering pump also but it's better than buying all Corvette acc. I went with the aftermarket fan and radiator setup from S10V8.com in the stock position.

H3 alpha pan on a 2nd Gen 4x4 doesn't work with the Turbo Time mounts.

Put you some longer bolts in the block and get you some of the black hardened washers and just add them in until you have enough room it looks lke you are damm close to where you need to be.

Im posting this for a friend, so I hope someone on here has done this before. He is doing a 6.0 LS1 swap into an '82 S10. Here's a link to the thread: https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...154&highlight=

My question is, does anyone know if a 15x10 wheel with a 5" backspace will fit on the rear of this truck using either a 275/60/15 or a 325/50/15 drag radial?

Thanks

Well for those of you who do have the RDS radio in an 2002 up. I verified by tinkering back and forth using a customers truck my radio and a tech 2 and our SPS programming system. If you change the pcm VIN the radio will stay funtioning provided it is programmed to your truck correctly before you remove your oem PCM. If you have already done the swap then you need to keep your stock pcm handy if you ever have to reprogram the radio, IPC, or BCM. You will simply swap in the stock pcm download the info onto the tech 2 and then flash whatever module it is necessary to flash. When you are done then reinstall your custom programmed pcm and you are good to go.

Thanks. Do you know what BS would be needed to fit a 325? Or will it fit at all?

i doubt you will get a 325 to fit in the well of an s10 without frame narrowing and a deeper offset
i tried a 17x11 with 335/35/17s the side wall of the tire was out of the well about 1/2" and against the frame rail ,they looked awesome but needed more work so i scrapped the project..

ZZ4 has some 15x10s on his truck with 295s and they are close!

There is a guy on here running the 275s with good success so we may just use those. I didnt think there was enough room in the well for a 325.

We put a 315 on a 12 in the fender well. I think it would be just a little too tight to really make it work and look right. We'll be using a 295/65 or a 275/60 depending on class rules. Both on 10s, with 4.5BS (slightly narrowed rearend).

"LSXS10" is using 275s and has been 1.38 60' on them.

LSXS10 is the guy I was thinking of. If he has been 1.3 60 fts with 275s then they should be good enough for our application

A heads, cam, carbed 6.0 with a future shot of nitrous. Pretty simple setup.

275s will hook it fine. That truck should be about 2700-2800# without driver so i think a powerglide should help your traction headache and will proby. ET. better "it did in mine" the first gear in a th350 is just so low. What are you going to run for rear gears?

Is a square body just that much lighter than the later ones? Wow. We have ours close to rolling, well when we get the back wheels in thursday, so maybe this weekend we can put ours on a scale. If we can come in 3000lb range I'd be extactic
