From what I have read they are 59 1/2 INCH from wheel flange to wheel flange. If that helps at all.

With out drums or discs on mine, it measured just a hair over 59" from one axle flange to the other axle flange.

What happened in your run at minute 13:00? Did you break something?

Let the thread die....
It has too many useless posts for anyone to efficiently sift through at this point.

Yes, some useless and a ton not. My weekend consisted of attending us (Texas Tech) beating UT and reading this...well not quite only that. Anyways, glad to find out my "bat-wing" C5 oilpan won't work before I actually start my build. I'll go with the H3. I'm curious if there's any info about the manifolds fitting yet. I'll start searching around this site and others now I'm done with this though. Thanks for the information guys.

Talk about resurrecting the dead...
Manifolds vs. headers are covered in a few threads over at http://www.s10forum.com/forum/lsx-discussion/

I really like the way the Fbody pan fits with the sectioned crossmember. The truck pan was just gonna be way too deep.
