I would recommend the 8.8 ford swap, much easier to find, so much in fact that the savings over an 8.5" would cover the mods you need to do to it (have one axle shortened.) Are you guys on any V8S10.org?

They are not made by sanderson, 1 5/8 vs 1 1/2 primaries, the drivers side is tucked in for better clearance...

The poly units are going to be 60.00 bones....

Default Need help connecting slave cylinder on T56

Hello, it's been a while since I posted. I'm almost done with my ls1 conversion but still have some loose ends. What's the best way to hook up the slave cylinder on the T56 to the master on my S10? Does anybody sell hydraulic lines or fittings I might be able to use?

someone correct me if i'm wrong but the factory line for an s10\blazer with 4.3 5 speed will work (not sure about 2.2) cause the 5 spd and the t56 use the same slave.

i have car shop headers and the fit sucked. i had to cut the control arm because it was hitting, i had to dent a primary to get the shaft to clear even with the motor all the way to the pass. side. and the passager side collector requires modding to get it to work. also the weld should of been on the out of the flange not the inside where the gasket goes. and they are 1 5/8 and the gasket is super small(like an inch and a 1/4).

hmm i'm glad you said that cause i thought about gettin some cause my sandersons are quite fitting right on the pass side. its kinda aiming at the firewall

anyone else had this problem??? it acts like the engine is too high but i made the mounts where they will sit as low as possible while using the frame risers.

you just have to get a collector cut it at the flange and weld in and angled tube of whatever angle you need.

What is everybody doing for engine harnesses these days? I have a stock '99 (came from the truck I am building) 4.3 engine harness, I also have a 2001 2.2 engine harness, and a stcok 2000 Camaro engine harness. Was going to try and make one out of at least two of them. But so far it's a huge pain in the ***.

I know of a couple of 2.2 5 speed swaps that used the stock 4 cyl. line.....
