I've punted on the header install till after the holidays, looking to swap for ones that fit, but I picked up supplies from my paint supplier, get some firewall work done,
Moved on to the mini tubs, started welding in the closeouts on one side, and then finish cutting the other material out, I'll post pics when something post worthy completed,

Sorry to hear about your header luck Steve. There are specific Hooker Blackheart headers available for the stock subframe and also for DSE subframe, I'm guessing your subframe is from another aftermarket manufacturer by your report.

Thanks, Talked to one of the reps at Holly and there's no other pics available of the BH(Black Heart) DSE headers, and I'd like to look at the tube design looking down, like between the headers frame rails and the engine,
The "original" hooker swap headers fit my sub frame, but what I'm told they're not made anymore, only the BH for the swap,
My subs is basically a Art Morrison copy, which shortens the width 3 inches from a stock sub,

There may be other photos of the DSE headers available in the engineering file for that project, but I don't believe they will be of much help to you as the steering shaft passes through two of the primary tubes on the driver side header and there are no dimensions that are present to use as a reference to determine fitment. At the end of the day, getting a set of headers that was designed to fit a specific 1st-gen subframe to fit another subframe is a crap shoot as there are many differences between the geometries of the subframes available for 1st-gens.

So, its been a year, and in my mind way too long,
Have some AME headers need to be coated, have to order some parts from AME also, slowly but I'm working on it,
Home for good, quit my job, moved back to Florida, car is leveled for tub install and the DSE subframe connectors, also been working on the harness, may post pics in a couple days,
