When i ran my speed demon 750 with a performer rpm intake, i had to buy an adapter for a quadrajet carb. Otherwise you will have a vaccuum leak underneath the pass side ports. (carb is wider than intake) Not sure if this is the case with the victor but you might take a look. Adapter was very cheap.

Yeah, this was more like an adapter. It was about 1/8" thick. Search quadrajet adapter out on jegs. It was like 10 bucks or so.

u getting ur heads worked on?
it should make some good power with that cam
my friend used some modified fox body headers from summit
for like 100$ with ls1 flanges
he took the measurements and had alocal welding muffler shop weld the headers to the ls1 flanges they were 1 5/8 long tubes with 3 in collectors
they look like they were made for 3rd gencamaro ls1 swap
but he is runnin a tubular PA k member

i have a welder but no tube bender so taking purchased parts and mod. them is right up my alley only problem is im still running the stock k-member. but i would rather buy a tubular k member to shave wieght and gain clearance before i would buy those $1200 headers. and there is nothing i enjoy more than taking drand new ford partsand cutting them up lol.
can you tell me if he running the tube a arms and wht brand fox body headers were they

they are summit headers for a fox body 5.0 87-92
i think they run like 95-100$
u should look into them, the port spacing is dam near identical to ls1
just chop off the 5.0 flange and weld a ls1 flange
take some measurements first though
he is also running the stock a arms and using a 4th gen disc conversion on the front from a lt1 camaro
that car is fun to drive
i am also working on a few carb lsx engines

Did ya see the post on here, where a guy used 5.0 mustang headers, and put ls1 flanges on them? do a search, i think it was about long tube fox body headers or something like that, it seem it would be a good do it yer self thing to do, mj

i have the stainless works headers.
i lost a bit of torque with these headers as i think they are built too straiforword.
all the pipes are in a line and go strait to the collector. not the best design, IMO, but they did show nice gains up top.

stock z06 manifolds.

headers, no other changes
