Grrrr! Water temp adapter...
I drilled it out and tapped it, but it broke while threading into the head, not enough meat and strength in the thin walls of brass. Helluva lot of fun getting it back out. Tried making a new adapter using the stock plug which worked great until I smacked it installing my headers. Broke that one too.
I was just wondering if anyone had the part number for the plug? I think autometer could provide a little better sealing washer for that piece. Maybe something with an rtv ring already on it. Mine is easy enough to get to though so if it gives me trouble Ill figure something else out.

I was a lot gentler with the second one...... but I still keep an eye on that area for leaks 'cause I don't trust things I can't over torque!
