Tranny is on its way to Waynes shop. Hopefully I'll have it back tuesday so we can head to the track this week.

We got the big turbo installed this morning, had to grind the frame rail and the support to get it to fit since it was tucked up alittle more. Started on the downpipe and got a couple tubes cut and almost ready to be tacked into place.

My dad dropped off the tranny today, hopefully I'll have it back wednesday to install thursday.

Tomorrow I hope to have the downpipe finished so when the tranny gets back we can hit the track.

Damn that was a long trip. We had a couple of issues with the transmission, the low gear band showed some heat so we replaced that and turned the drum on the lathe. There was a brass thurst washer that was broken for no apparent reason. We also found that the shifter would not adjust correctly so after trying 4 brackets we found one that would work. I'll try and get the trans back into the car tonight and post some pics.

Was the band not adjusted tight enough? When I had my s10 I had to adjust it real tight to get it to hold on the transbrake.
