You don't see many ramblers anymore. It will be sweet.

Default yep

cool ride you have
thanks for responding
well in reference to the weight..car craft is doing a rambler. with stock rambler and a 360 aluminum head motor and retained all the factory equipment...
they weighed in at 2771.....light
i have remove all the stock suspension .whole frontend setup is about as much weight as the original steering box and linkage...removed the factory dog house....dumped the original heavy *** bench front seat.whole rear setup weighs less than just one leaf spring.ls1 is light..so im hoping the car ends up at about 2500 finished weight.......damn, just talking about it makes me wanna drive it..

Hey radrambler ... I had a '68 rogue. It was trashed by a drunk driver ... car weighed 3050 with me in it... iron headed smallblock chevy. Full interior, all steel except a fiberglass 4 1/2" cowl on the stock hood. And the bumpers were 'glass. Had a small cage. Just a street car, got a 10.80 out of it the night it was wrecked - was hit by a drunk driver on the drive home from the track. Couldn't ever get that thing to transfer right though .... had all the stock suspension components. I drove that car everywhere. If you need help with any parts you can't find, let me know. I know a couple places and may be able to help.

Good luck, keep up the pics. It'll be wild at that weight!

Mine was a 2-door non post car. Try Galvins AMC I think he's in Texas - www.ramblerparts.com (if that doesn't work, try google) - I believe the guys name is Al. I bought a few things from there.

I'm in NW Indiana.

I bought a new '68 Rambler American (like your '69); it was even the same geen color as yours. In about 1970, I installed a turbo from a '63 Olds Jetfire. For its day, it ran pretty good for a 232 cu in six.

damn, I tried like all heck to buy a 67 from a guy down near Tampa last year before I tore my 3rd gen Camaro down for this LS stuff. I offered him some insane money and he GAVE it to his frikken brother-in-law to fix his harley!! I was SICK to miss the car. I wanted something off the scale odd to build too. Great job on the nash!!
