Default New GMCOPO Retrofit oil pan

Look what showed up in May 2007 HotRod.

It looks like it will fit in a lot of different vehicles.

wonder if it will fit a s10 2wd?????hell,it aint even on the websight it is so brand new!I didnt see it on there anyway

Actually it looks rear sump. That kick-out is not going to work with a lot of long tube headers.

I bet it's a bitch to change a starter on too by looking at it. Definitely wont work in an s series chassis.

i think the starter bolts can be accessed from underneath, and after removing them you jest pull the starter towards the front of the pan.

any idea how many quarts it holds?

I saw an article that says it holds 5.5 quarts.

it's for sure a rear sump...look at the filter slot on the rear of the pan....... wonder how much crossmember clearance you get with a stock f-body crossmember? Hmmmm, more food for thought

Moroso had produced a new LS1 conversion oil pan #20140
Summit has it listed for $220 Summit Part #Mor-30915
see page 2 for measurements

I saw this pan at PRI. It's not cheap. I recall retail was around $600.
