Sorry, can't tell in the pics, but where does your intake go?

aaaaaaaa nowhere , trying to find an 05-06 gto air intake for now - not sure if it will fit cause the ps res. might be in the way so I dont want to spend to much on a performance one until I know it will fit.

John,
Everything looks great!!! I did the same exact thing with my vintage air controller you did just last weekend. Your dash looks much better than mine. I left the big chrome trim which limited the space for my guages. I missed that you started it up, congratulations. I am dying to start mine up.

Good Job man!!!

Please keep updating us

Rob

A little more progress today - made a bracket for the ecm - mounted it in the center of the firewall up high , looks like there wont be any issues . had to secure it through the upper cowl as I did with the ac evaporator to prevent drilling through the firewall

now the fun begins

JOHN

I bought from a company called Haneline , about 200$ and then I had it powdercoated . the guages are a little tight where the guage bezels are on the top but it fits better than anything else I could find, its the best option without hacking the dash - if you used a covans plastic guage dash you would have to trim some of your dash by the column,JOHN

it depends on what guages you use -- with the panel and the guages about 1000 $

A quick update, ordered an intake system for an 06 gto and had to slightly modify - lengthened the coupling off the throttle body and added a 45' just before the air filter, still need to make a bracret to support the assembly by the air cleaner. cut the vintage air grills into the dash and ran most of the ductwork, cut some holes for the heater and ac hoses to keep them hidden in the fender also did most of the wiring and neatening up , installed tilt column, installed a new B&M shifter cable , installed condensor and got all brakes wworking including the emergency brake
