Well then an anti-roll bar will help alot..Next on my list of suspension is a-arms and coil overs, plus some adjustable uppers..Then I should be set..But I could tell a big difference in how the car leaves with the anti-roll bar...Kind of like a night and day difference..

how much air do you run in them? I ran a bag just on the pass side in my turbo buick, it had an open rear and wouldn't hook for **** on anything less than 20psi in the bag. eventually the pressure ruptured it. the bag was good for 1.56 60'

for some reason anything less than 20 psi showed no improvement in 60' on my car. does the car twist when it launches?

BTW, how did you know your 5.3 was a 5.3? is there any external signs? the reason i ask is because a buddy is looking at one, it just says 4.8 / 5.3 on the block

how much hp would you say your pushing around 14psi? How much more power do you think you could pick up using a 6.0 with the same modifications?

On 8 psi it made 450rwhp
on 11psi it made 510rwhp
SO on 14 I would guess 550ISH
and on 16.5 all the calculators put it right around 650-660 rwhp . I guess I could put it back on the rollers seeing as how I own a dyno LOL

Well after going up a bit in tire size and changing a few things on the suspension the old heap of **** pickup truck motor finally did it 9.99@140 the car made 5 passes over 140 mph and it was all on 14.5psi and straight pump 94 with meth. The car finally left good with a 1.48 60 foot. Overall a great night of racing ran new personal best et,60 foot and mph and did it all on my street set up with the boost down and pump gas !!!
