Has anybody used a replacement gas tank from an EFI G-body? I picked up both a sending unit and tank from an 83' Regal with a 3.8, but I've heard horror stories of people pumping the gas and the nozzle keeps shutting off because the aftermarkets don't vent like the OEM ones do. I've seen a picture of what the fix was but never got a PM back from the person who posted. I'd hate to start pumping gas in the car and have to take it out and weld to it

I'm running a truck pan and a 4L80E in my Turbo Buick. I have around 3.5" of ground clearance between the pipes and the ground. It's around 3.75" of clearance between the truck oil pan and the ground. The 4L80E fit perfectly...no mods to the tunnel. I even used the factory crossmember. I just had to add an extension on it for the new mount location.

I have an 80 in my Monte. I also have the BRP shorty headers. The 80s have "ears" on them at the bottom of where the trans bolts to the engine. These "ears" are to attach the torque converter cover (I think) and can be easily chopped off with a grinder or reciprocating saw. Remember that the housing is aluminum and will probably load up on any tool you use so have extra saw blades or cut off wheels at the ready. It also helps to test fit headers on the engine/trans combo while out of the car...or you can do it the hard way like I did and cut them off while its all in the car

I recently purchased a wiring harness from PSI for my 82 Monte. Does anybody know which Park/Neutral safty switch wire that I tie into for the harness? Also, I want to mount the computer on the DS wheel cover. Does anybody have pics of how they mounted their ECM? I'm sure I'll have a lot more questions later because this is new territory for me.
