Ls1 into 240sx____PICS

I am in the process of an Ls1 engine into a 240sx. Ive been Lagging and now i am getting started. With the help of my roomate, we are doing most of the work in our garage, except for the custom fab. work. I will keep updating pictures as it goes on. Should only take about two more weeks. Let me know what you think. im open to suggestions.

nice i cant wait to see how it goes, i have a 95 the same color, lol. i want to do a LS1 swap in the near future, good luck and take lots of pics !!

Yeah keep us posted. I just picked up a 95 and a 5.3 (not what i wanted but it was cheap) I plan on doing the swap also.

more progress, i am waiting to load pictures. i am planning on keeping it stock. If it's not fast enough, i guess a 100 shot is in the future. The engine is mounted and recessed 8 inches.

replying to the bolt on's, im in CA so i am limited to power and performance with smog issues. i would rather not get sent to referee. also nitrous is a lot cheaper. it will be fast enough for now.

just swap the motor into that z in your garage. no smog there

Need help

So i need help. the exhaust manifolds won't clear the stearing column and i don't know what to do about it. i can get custom headers but thats more than i have. so does anyone know what kind of shorty headers to go with or what to do?
