Default 1966 Nova nearly finished (just a little fender rub, soft clutch, and brick like brakes

Here's my vids of her maiden voyage, had a little fender rub but with the corvette suspension you just adjust the upper a-arm and problem solved.
I got the clutch fixed that day also just needed more pumping to get the bubbles out.

I redid the brake changing the stroke from a 4-1 ratio to a 5.33-1
and a new master cylinder with a smaller bore is on its way.

Holy crap, I keep checking back to your geocities and I haven't seen any updates NOW THIS. The car looks amazing, can't wait to see more vids and pics. Congrats on the maiden voyage.

How do you like the C4 suspension so far?

The C4 suspension is treating me well, I havn't thrown it into a hard turn "yet", but it feels real good.
The launch is smooth I need to take a vid of the rear wheel well to see how much movement I got, it feels neutral (no squat or heavy planting) I aimed the 4-link dog bones at what I calculated to be CG for the car.
The front is great and I had to adjust it a couple of times but it's real easy to do....

The wiring just about put a end to me, but I took the time to use the stock harness and run everything through it (blinkers brakes horn fuel cruise control etc all use the PCM-BCM)

Thanks all, this was one hard solo build.

I got the headers off of ebay theyre stainless longtubes I think they were around 200 bucks. the were made for a corvette I just cut the flange off and re welded it straight back.

I just went on my third run in the car I got it up to 90 on the freeway and it feels real firm, the steering is super tight.

the only thing is that front driver side tire is rubbing again at 9-0clock position
and when I left the garage it wasn't

I have poly bushings in the uppers but I didn't change the lowers
I think the lower A-arms might be getting mushy.

That reminds me, what year clip did you use? I always thought the 88 and newer front ends were wider so I went with an '85. I ended up having to narrow mine another 3" though because of the wheel offset I ended up with. I also shortened the wheelbase 1/2" like TCI and Heidt's do.

Good news the suspensions not moving.
It was the lower fender part, I didnt install that bar that triangulates it away from the car. I just figured it was extra weight and I could get away with not having it on.

I'm thinking a small aluminium strip would do a better job.
