I respect that. My Thunderbird is around 2 to 2.5 inches lower than stock but it gets driven every day everywhere in all weather - including snow. Due to the long nose, getting in some of the areas at work can be a bit challenging as can getting it on a jack with a flat so it stays at that height.

Man, I am in love with that gauge panel you made. I was looking for something like that for my 65 skylark swap that I'm working on. Any details on how you made it?

I am a mechanical designer by trade. I designed it in cad and had it cut on a water Jet. Same way I did the custom engine covers, alt relocation bracket and wheel center caps. I am going to design and build some new center caps for the American style wheels soon. If you need a custom panel or any thing just shoot me a pm I can layout what you want get it cut and ship it to you.

Thanks All
Rocky

You have done an excellent job on everything I have seen, congrats. Beautiful car, and awesome work. Those cars are WAY underappreciated in my opinion..........I'd love to get my hands on one......

Well I am offically a pro-touring guy now. The new suspension and tight ratio steering has been installed. This things feel like your driving a new corvette. You wouldn't know you are in a 1965 cutlass anymore Thanks to Marcus at SC&C.

I am considering it as an eventual upgrade. I have everything for the carb set up already. If it does not please me, I can always go for EFI.

I agree. I'm hooked on EFI and won't build another carb car unless it is for someone else or is necessary because of a class rule.

I would but it's so low now I can't get the camera under there anymore.

Been a while since I looked in on your build. Out-flippin-standing! You should be very proud.

Pat

P.S. I'm sold on EFI too. So much so I am going to figure a way to put it on a Studebaker motor on my next project.
