Does ne save you much time as oppossed to any? While we are decoding TLA's (three letter acronyms) and FLA's...I have never figured out what lol stands for. You lazy bastards should start communicating intelligently so that you can get answers sooner. Kind of defeats the whole purpose huh?

YES!!! I am in the process of this same swap! Quite a few loose ends to figure out, but nothing that can't be tackled. If I can be of any help, just ask away! I am installing a 2001/4L60E out of a Camaro SS, into a 1996 GMC full-size short bed thats been lowered. It's replacing a 4.3 Litre Vortec V-6/4L60E...Have removed the Camaro accesories and replaced them with the Corvette accessories, to get the alternator to a higher location and for the additional Amp capacity that the Vette alternator provides. Am still contemplating which air-conditioning compressor bracketry to go with, as I want it on the passenger side high, to clear the frame cross-member, so I don't have to cut into it. Thanks, Ed
