depending on wat u wanna do...if u want to line the shifter to where the stock shifter was...u have to cut firewall and into the tranny tunnel...alot of it too...i'm using camaro oil pan with the t56....the tranny mount is dependent on ur creativity....the motor mount u can use the s&p style adapter plate and energy suspension rubber mount and build it from there....it will line everything up close enuff to build the most direct mount as possible to the stock location....
YOU just said^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ he is not running a T56 so the shifter location wont matter. Th350.

ain't the auto bigger??? i'm pretty sure wateva way u plan on mounting that motor....u'll cut the firewall and/or tranny tunnel....time will tell..

dose anyone know if there is an addaptor plate that will let you bolt the LS1 upto the Nissan 300zx box?? i have heard the box is pretty strong so should take the torque and the rear end should to. save alot of work trying to get the MASSIVE T56 in there.

The www.hybridz.org site is your best bet for info on a 300zx swap. Not a common swap so no kits that I know of.

A TKO will bolt to an LS motor. By the time you add the clutch and flywheel doesn't save a lot of weight, but it is a good bit smaller. TKO has a lot more options on shifter location too.

think I was reading somewhere you have to trim the fire wall. Also the guys made his own mounts. Got a plama cutter and a welder? You should be fine
