Ls1 into a 300ZX. What will I need??
OOOK. Im doing an LS6 into a 300Zx for a customer. We are also Doing a Single turbo steup on the this same car.I have done many crazy swaps. I have done searches and nothing tells me what I will need to make it fit. What mounts? Will anything need to be cut/Welded? ETc. Im needing some good advise and info on this swap. Thanks for all your help.

As far as I know I dont think there are mounts currently available to put an ls in a 300zx. You would most likely need to fabricate your own..
I do know of a guy locally who put one in a 300zx so it should fit fine. I think he is still on stock exhaust manifolds though.. putting a turbo in there will deff require a little more work than just the stock ls6

i'm sure it's been done, but i've never seen/heard of a 300ZX with a LSx in it....i bet it will be wicked.
as far as what you need:
1. (1) Nissan 300ZX
2. (1) GM LSx Engine w/harness & ECU
3. (???) a lot of tools, time, and patience
a buddy of mine had a Z for a while, we could barely put a water pump on it, much less attempt a motor swap
good luck, sorry for no help, make sure to keep us posted on this build

z32 or z31??? on z32...
depending on wat u wanna do...if u want to line the shifter to where the stock shifter was...u have to cut firewall and into the tranny tunnel...alot of it too...i'm using camaro oil pan with the t56....the tranny mount is dependent on ur creativity....the motor mount u can use the s&p style adapter plate and energy suspension rubber mount and build it from there....it will line everything up close enuff to build the most direct mount as possible to the stock location....
