Default Chevy II Ls1 pics!

I ended up having to redo the rear end housing which set me back a bit. The floors are getting done in about 3 weeks and the project should gain some speed. I am hoping to finish the car and have it running by the end of August.

This is going to be my ride height and I am going to run those wheels haha

Good luck on the long tubes. I made my own, for TCI clip. There is supposedly a company making them, that TCI will be selling, but don't think that is going to happen till Aug either.

Looks good though.

A member here has a set of the TCI/S&S longtubes. He is in Chicago. He worked with TCI to get them developed. Maybe he will chime in.

The member here is named Steve. We are both in chicago and I talk to him every now and then through email. I got the information from him through email a few months ago. S&S is VERY slow and I have already been waiting a month and I believe steve waited over 6 months for his. His set was the first produced though, they tell me I should have mine any day.

They are a custom long tube header designed around the TCI front clip. Since the TCI clip actually narrows down it has less room for the headers to fit. I am almost positive they will work with the other clips on the market as well. I think they were about $550 coated and were running about $375 uncoated. They seem like a great value. I cant wait to get them.

If someone needs pictures I can email them, I do not have them hosted anywhere. They are the pictures from Steve and I am sure he would be ok with me sending the pictures. He said the headers were beautiful and I agree from the pictures. PM me or post an email address and I will send them out.

I hope this helps.

The project looks good!
When I had a '65 Chevy II small-block I used fender-well headers.

I would use them but my tube chasis 2x3 tubing will get in the way. The only way for me to run exhaust correctly is throw the trans tunnel or around the tranny through the ceter of the car...
