LQ4 into a 3rd Gen/1972 Nova

You most certainly have an audience. I know how much work it is to photograph and write up the progress. It feels good to get positive feedback and you deserve it. I personally really appreciate the photos and tech detail. You are always coming up with cool ideas and executing them. I'm jealous of the time and drive you have to build cool stuff. Keep pushing your own envelope - you are blowing most of us out of the water.
That being said... I sure can't wait to only be taking pics of it parked places and videos of it being "exercised".
The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time
Snapping pics in the middle of a project is hard! I've tried, but I mostly just want to lose myself in the work and get out and drive (or, far too regularly, put it back up on jack stands to start another project). So kudos to you two for not only doing amazing things, but also providing enough documentation to guide and inspire others in their builds.

I will say I much prefer a thread that is clean of all the friendly-jesting BS that you see a ton of on the pro-touring forums *AHEM* Lateral-G *AHEM*. If I wanted to read pages upon pages of meaningless inside jokes and BS'ing between useful/cool pic updates...... I'd just text my friends instead. We're all friends on this forum, but I like that we're also more tech savvy and I appreciate this thread being kept "more or less" clean and down to just technical points and progress!
Welded the top filler plate on....
Welds aren't Instagram-quality best ever, however they'll have to do.. there's plenty of penetration and I'm satisfied with them since I'm an engineer and not a ticketed welder haha...
Next, I wanted to add a recess/notch on the underside just to be absolutely sure that there is zero interference with the radiator.. it will also let me fine tune the height of the intercooler to get it perfectly aligned with the throttlebody...
Then do the same bending and trimming process on the underside of the tank, albeit the bends have to be tighter in order to closely hug the radiator...
And fully welded up...
Also got started on the oil cooler mounting bracketry.. I've been waiting a long time for this to see if the cooler will clear the grill, and how much grill trimming will be needed.
Just simple 3/8" round bar with drilled tabs, I'm trying to keep the profile of it thin so the bracketry blocks the least amount of airflow into the intercooler. I'll be adding low profile threaded bosses to the intercooler top tank for the top of the cooler bracketry to mount to...
hard to photograph, and the oil cooler wasn't perfectly level with the intercooler core, but there's ~1/8" gap between the two just to prevent the two cores from touching and possibly wearing on each other over time...
