Well, let's start with the creature comforts like AC, back seats, radio, the hydraulic pump for the top(if you don't mind manual operation), Fog lights, and the whole air system if you don't mind crusin with just the windows down.

Have you taken anything off of it so far?

Well that's a good start, I forgot about the jack and spare.
That's the easiest thing to do, so that's probably why.
I can't think of much else besides the tank for the wiper fluid to take off.

Got tcs? Ditch it and get a non tcs cable. Delete the cruise control module. Ditch all the ac stuff. Remove the front sway bar for sure if you are goin to the track. Remove the rubber and the fluff from the carpet. You can delete the airbags and doorbars. Take out the passenger seat. The motor and the pistons for the top. Windshield washer tank. Front and rear bumper supports, inner fenders. Do a battery relocate. Depends on how safe you want to be really

I added a turbo to my car so although I added weight to my car, it gets to where it needs to be much faster

My car sucks at the track but I ran over 90 mph on the 1/8 mile. (street tires and stock clutch + no two step)

you have a roll cage in the convertible?
heck they wont let us race without one here in NY if you run under 13 sec in the convert you need to leave until you do. Im about ready to go find a used hardtop bird and strip it to the bone. Use it for race only it wont need anything but one seat.
