94k on the clock. I bought it 2 years ago with 63k on the clock and right after had to replace the entire bottom end $5k later and I have a near new motor. Thing is I was a newbie at that time and took it to a pontiac dealership, and of course they gave it to me up the *** with no grease. Man for that kind of money I could of had a killer bottom end (stroked to say the least). I still get pissed when I think about it. Other than that the car performs great. I love it!

02 SS w/40k miles.

-leaking window seals at carwash
-drivers side power window motor replaced (under warranty)
-oh and that damn little triangular piece on both sides of car, where top & door meet.....it just plain ole blew off the car one day. That part cost $68 (of course, this happened right after the warranty expired).

That's it!

25k miles. All the problems were of my own doing except for a problem with the top's hydraulics that was fixed under warranty.

Wife's vert is a 94. Has about 70k on it. She has a Hot cam, headers, Meziere, CME, Vigilante 3200 stall, built 4L60E, 3.42's, BMR torque arm, control arms, control arm relocation brackets, KYB AGX's, and Eibach ProKit, NX dual stage kit (50 1st, 75 2nd, total of 125 shot), more.

She is getting around 20 mpg in it on the highway. Old cam ran 13.2; new one should run high 12's on the motor.

Problems so far:

one convertible top cylinder seal went leaking fluid everywhere
Both power window motors got tired and needed replaced
Ignition switch went out twice

88,xxx my passenger side weather stip is off the car and wont go in?????and a week after I bought the car the tranny blew.
The motor for the convertible seems tired going up sometimes but it works. The car pulls like a bitch whenever it kicks down a gear so the motor and drivetrain are still strong, I notice i have one of the highest miles out of all who replied so hopefully this is helpful.

Hmmmm...where to start........

59,000 miles.

Top leaks after the do-it yourself wash. (I purposely go in those because if I went into a normal touchless it feels like your in florida during a monsoon season.) But it is after that I will tap the brakes when I'm coming to the exit of the wash and water will drain forward and come out where the top meets the A pillar.

Tail lights have lost their air tight seal somewhere and the reflective chrome has come off leaving me with one very dim tail light, and another halfway dim light. And both have water vapor in the Trans Am back up lights.

The paint finish cracked on the decklid after about 12,000 miles...No idea why but I should have had it covered under the warranty at the time.

The plastic triangle panels behind the window came off of both sides. I had one replaced at the dealer under warranty, (which comes as a whole new triangle part, they dont sell the double sided rubber adheasive to just stick it back on.) The second I just epoxied back in place with 5 min Epox.

The panel that holds the TCS and TOP buttons popped out of it's place and never really sticks in there anymore. I dont know if there are 2 clips on that plastic piece or just one....mine only has one, so maybe one broke off somehow and thats why it doesnt stay.

The ABS/TCS does not work anymore. No idea why. All of a sudden just one day it stopped working. I am use to driving with ABS as well, so as a result I've locked them up a few times during panic stops for deer and other dumbshits on the roads. I heard that sometimes brake dust collects on the hub sensors and gives a false reading to the magnets therefore rendereing it inopporative.

I have 2 or 3 wheel bearings that are shot. I dont know exactly which ones, but it makes a **** load of noise and a rough, unsmooth sound when driving. Plan to change them before it hits the road this spring.

I had an on again, off again, SES light on my dash with a little over 20k on it. It ended up being the AIR system. So I just yanked it anyways and blocked off the manifolds when I put on an aftermarket air lid.

My rear suspension makes a squeak noise over small jostling bumps in parking lots.

I had a rattle during starts and slow parking lot manuevering when I let out the clutch that sounded like absolute ****. Embarrassing as hell when you are driving around campus and chicks are lookin at you in your car, then it rattles like it's going to fall apart. I thought it was a loose baffle in the stock muffler, so I changed it out to a loudmouth thinking that will either solve the problem or make it so no one can hear it anyways. Well, it only got worse with the increased vibrations and resonance of the LM. I believe it was the y-pipe rattling against something now. But it doesnt matter cuz it's replaced with an Incon y-pipe now.

The black strip of window trim on the top of the door on the outside totally popped out when someone slammed my door. A buddy of mine had the same thing happen. Well I tried pushing it back down but ended up breaking some clips down in the door that it latches around. So I tore the door halfway apart to try to fix it and did it half assed. But at least it doesnt pop out and follow the window all the way to the roof when you put the window up now. I'll eventually have to take the whole door apart and set it in place right.

Just about a month and a half ago when I drove it out to STENOD's for them to work on it, the thermostat took a **** and the car started overheating on the 2.5 hour drive over there. It'd decide to work, then stop again and the temp would shoot through the roof. One time it started steaming all over, then after awhile it worked it's way out. So now it's time for one of those.

I've put about 6 batteries in this car since I bought it new. If you leave it with the alarm on for more than 2-3 days, the car is dead. So dead that another vehicle or Battery Buddy will not jump it. Its especially bad if the temp is below 45 deg. If I come out the next morning and try starting it it barely cranks over sometimes. So everytime it gets that dead, I have to get a new battery regardless. My buddy's vette can sit all winter long, get in the car now and then turning the dome lights on, and he'll just start it up in the spring on the first turn of the key. Pisses me off to no end!

Hurst shift **** is as loose as a goose and rotates all over and sometimes rattles. So I put a foil gum wrapper in the threaded hole and screwed it on tight. Seemed to fix the problem temporarily.

*Edit: I forgot about my driver's side electric mirror. It stopped working correctly and only adjusted right and left, not up and down. My buddy's brother fixed that when he backed his dad's 2500 HD down the driver's side of the car. In the end I got a whole new left side added to the vehicle.

I'm sure there's some other stuff. But I don't care to scare too many people as to what their future holds.

OK I'm not as bad as Mike 01
11xxx miles and the front drivers side shock went out around 8k,
leaks around top of window but always has always will,
SES light came on over the winter (Multiple Misfire) Plugged in the Predator took it back to stock tune, charged the battery cleared the code SES hasn't come back yet,
Chrome just begining to flake off on 2 wheels, i figure one good powerwash outta get me a couple new wheels under warranty
Oh yeah and of course.........pinion seal around 8k as well.

Things I'm waiting for now after reading this:
One or both power window motors,
Sail panels to blow off!
